Des sommets de l’Himalaya aux mystères des terres Celtes qui l’ont vu grandir, des chants sacrés aux basses profondes du reggae... Ce sont toutes ces expériences qui ont infusé et donné naissance à Shama.
Dans un écrin musical qu’elle s’est façonné sur-mesure, l’artiste nantaise, déjà connue en tant que leadeuse du groupe Moja, se révèle plus libre que jamais dans un projet aux sonorités World, Electro et Trip Hop, subtil mélange d'électronique moderne et d'instrumentations organiques.
Sa voix éveille les émotions enfouies, traverse les corps et s'adresse à toutes les âmes, évoquant la puissance mélancolique de Sinead O’Connor, la profondeur mystique de Lisa Gerrard ou encore le timbre cristallin d’Aurora.
Sa musique, elle, est un parfait mélange de ses influences, allant d’Ibeyi à Portishead en passant par Orange Blossom.
Sur scène, accompagnée de Mathieu Lagraula (machines,guitare,trompette) et Simon Riochet (batterie, percussions), Shama se révèle magnétique et puissante, et laisse aussi place à l’improvisation à travers le chant intuitif qui rend chaque concert unique.

From the peaks of the Himalayas to the mysteries of the Celtic lands where she grew up, from sacred songs to the deep bass of reggae... It is all these experiences that infused and gave birth to Shama.
In a musical setting that she shaped for herself, the artist from Nantes already known as the leader of the group Moja, reveals herself to be more free than ever in a project with World, Electro and Trip Hop sounds, a subtle blend of modern electronics and organic instrumentation.
